We need your help to educate the electorate!

Grassroots affect news coverage(0)

Here’s to our Northern Ohio grassroots, who successfully pushed the News-Herald  to dedicate an entire Sunday column to the Robert Owens campaign after Owens was left out of a previous editorial where writer Jim Collins lavished praise on both of the other candidates.  (He seems to be in love them even more than Marc Dann, whom the News-Herald endorsed in 2006).  Here’s some [...]

Protecting Your Money(0)

As Legal Newsline reported last week, Robert Owens has made restoring integrity and transparency a centerpiece of his campaign since the beginning.  From the day he decided to pursue this office, Robert said:

End the no-bid contracts.
End the slush fund system.
Increase transparency in government.

His leadership on these issues continues as we approach the homestretch of the campaign.  Following is an excerpt of [...]

Poll headline: Independent candidate complicates AG race(2)

“Any outcome possible”
That’s how a new poll released today describes Ohio’s attorney general race.
SurveyUSA poll conducted the poll for WCMH-TV Columbus, WCPO-TV Cincinnati, WKYC-TV Cleveland, and WDIO-TV Dayton.  In parts of the state, Owens achieved 20%.  The opportunity is remarkable considering that featured stories, interviews, numerous candidate forums, and two statewide debate broadcasts are yet to come.  [...]

Issues of Substance(2)

Here’s a re-cap on the past two weeks of media coverage and other news in the race for Ohio attorney general.  While the other candidates in the race quibble over minutia and continue to politically posture, Robert Owens remains the candidate of substance.
If Mike Crites wants to question Richard Cordray, why doesn’t he challenge him on real issues?  [...]
