AG Robert Owens Community Agenda Action Plan

As Your Attorney General, I will fight for you - the people of Ohio.

Here is my Action Plan to implement a true Community Agenda:

1. Cut off the primary tools of pay to play politics such as no bid contracts and slush funds.


2. Aggressively lower violent crime - and put an emphasis on solving violent crimes - by working with community leaders especially in urban areas.


3. Restore law enforcement trust in the law enforcement support agencies, such as the Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy (OPOTA).


4. Dramatically expand government transparency and enforce Ohio’s open records laws


Attorney General is an important position in Ohio - we need a leader with a knowledge and love of the law, the people, and the Constitution.


I am running to give the people of Ohio a voice in state government.  For too long, the big-money special interests have been the only voices heard by Republican and Democratic party representatives.
