Is Crites in the tank for Cordray?
After four debates of the candidates for Ohio Attorney General, the Republican Party candidate has us asking: is Mike Crites in the tank for Richard Cordray? Is this a political campaign or WWF wrestling?
In the first debate, the headline described how much Crites agreed with Cordray.
In two other debates, Cordray went after Crites - once so wrongheaded that he earned a hand slap from the Bar Association. But Crites refuses to say anything directly against the corruption of the Democratic party representative.
Oh sure, he doesn’t mind passively putting out negative campaign ads. He’ll even allow his campaign to file an ethics complaint. But, apparently Mike doesn’t much like hand-to-hand combat.
Indeed, it’s looking more and more like Crites has turned in a performance worthy of the Washington Generals - staying in the game, but playing to let the Globetrotters win.
